Matthew joined the Convergence team having gained over 15 years’ experience in Finance, Treasury and Risk in both advisory and operational roles.
Matthew combines significant operational expertise with a deep understanding of industry and the markets in which they operate. Previously, Matthew spent significant time as a Treasury Consultant working with top-tier Financial and Corporate institutions.
Matthew’s deep experience across Finance, Treasury and Risk practices includes: strong systems knowledge at an operational level; detailed knowledge of Treasury and Finance strategy and execution; process reviews, re-engineering and key controls; thorough knowledge of Treasury instruments and trading from Front Office through to Back Office and settlement operating models and business processes and operational controls
Matthew has lead the development of Business Case and Benefits Profile for a Finance, Treasury and Risk transformation of a major UK bank in addition to being the lead for a Treasury General Ledger system integration at a major UK bank.
His portfolio of past clients includes: HBOS; JP Morgan; British Gas; 3Com Corporation; DHL and a UK Global Financial Institution.
